Are there any limits on using QR codes?
No. Our customers have unlimited use of the QR codes we
create.
Our QR codes are not time-limited in anyway and don’t “expire”. There are no limits on the number of times they can be scanned. There are no limits on commercial use.
Is a license required to use or create QR codes?
The use of our QR codes is free of any license. The QR code is clearly defined and published as an open ISO standard. Denso Wave owns the patent rights on QR codes, and the methods used to encode and create them, but has chosen not to exercise them, however the term “QR code” itself is a registered trademark of Denso Wave Incorporated.
Is there a charge for the QR codes?
No. Our QR codes are made for free for our customers with any print order.
Do your QR codes expire?
No. The QR codes themselves are not time limited in any way and will continue to work indefinitely.

WHAT’S A QR CODE?

Storing up to 4296 characters they are internationally standardised under ISO 18004, so a QR code is a QR code all over the world – they’ve been big in Japan forever, broke into Europe and the UK a few years back, and are now getting real traction in USA.
